Medical student on a budget?

Attending medical conferences as a medical student can be an amazing, but costly experience. That's where we can help. Unbeknownst to many, medical schools across Canada provide their students with hundreds of dollars in funding annually to attend medical conferences. You just need to know where to look.

Scroll down to find funding that is available at your school.

The National Medical Conference Funding Database is brought to you by the National Geriatrics Interest Group (NGIG) and was compiled by medical students across Canada.

At its conception, the purpose of this database is to help encourage students to attend the Canadian Geriatric Society (CGS) Annual Scientific Meeting by identifying all potential funding sources for students. While this is an NGIG-focused initiative, the available funding may be helpful for all students attending any medical conference.
